There are 18 missions I think. I am on mission 15. The campaign must be 20+ hours if you want to search around (and you will need to as ammo can be scarce at times).

The synthetics creep me out but the xenos and facehuggers creep me out more!

Really enjoying this, just 'helped' Dr K, that's quite a lot to do between the chance to save, damn Alien is a fast mutha.

Ahem. I wasn't. ;) I thought it was the sole alien and that's it. But I'm not angry as I shouldn't have been in the thread if I didn't want spoilers. :p

I have and it aint pretty, In fact I seem to be meeting it everywhere. I have actually dropped from hard to normal, dying every 2 minutes kind of takes the flow of the game away. Seriously a mouse farts within 200 yards of you and you get your head bitten off, sheesh.
 
Lol I'm such an idiot... I changed from hard to medium, died and reloaded. Kept dying and thought FFS this is hard, just realsied that reloading also reverts back to hard, doh :rolleyes:
 
Just finished it. So great. My favourite single player game so far this gen. I usually trade stuff but I'm keeping this one. Will get all the DLC next.
 
I must be **** at this game, I'm still dieing loads on novice difficulty! :o

Do you have to restart the entire game for difficulty changes, as I swear it's made no difference changing it in game.

i just finished it today, I am going to start on survivor mode, what an epic!

Not sure as I left it on normal the whole time. I died loads too and used the save points a lot as I progressed. I spent a lot of the time scanning and hiding on the tough alien missions. How far are you?

Just starting mission 7.

I think the difficulty change may have taken effect as I managed to progress. I was dieing loads on mission 6!

Love the game but it does get a bit much having to keep reapeating the same objective after dieing. Though that's down to me partly, from being careless and forgetting about those vents from above!!!

Still let's see how far I go on novice difficulty :D
