Alien: Isolation Trailer

Seems to be a few great games being released over the next two months. Need more game time and money go buy them all. I like how detailed he game world is in Alien.
 
Tempted to get this but worried it could be awful. There hasn't been a great Alien game since Alien Trilogy IMO but since it can be had for ~£27 on the Indian Xbox store for the Nostromo edition it might be worth a punt. Hmmmm.
 
It seems the 360 and PS3 versions have been leaked online.

Not googling Alien Isolation anymore, don't want to stumble across spoilers or screenies.
 
Mate played on this on Saturday, says it looks and feels good and is intense. :)
 
I think it looks really good but my main concern is the length. I really can't see any reason for me to play it more than once through so I'm just renting it.

Actually it's my wife who is the big Alien fan (we always disagree on Alien vs The Thing) so I might have a laugh watching her go through it instead of me.

Now thats a good healthy disagreement there, worthy of a blazing row! Both are cracking movies and both scared the wits out of me as a youngster.

The best argument me and the misses have had 'so far' is over Jedward! (yes those blonde, spikey haired, tone deaf numb skulls off X factor).
 
I hope they've got the pacing right on this. I need to have regular intervals where I'll feel completely safe or else the game will give me a heart attack if the alien is always ready to pounce. I'm a huge fan of the films so whenever I play an Alien game, my adrenaline level is high even when I put the disc in the drive. :D

I love the idea of it picking up your own ambient sounds outside the game! now thats clever!!
 
Just watched the Gamespot review, think I'll skip this until bargin bin, review was pretty bad with the alien only in a few levels whilst the main game is just code collecting and dodging robots. The review made the game look really bad.
