Alien: Isolation Trailer

Anyone having issues with their Nostromo code?

I wonder if it is because the game isn't due out until tomorrow.
 
The games radar review sounds superb. I think its a game that i would love. Its a game about trying to be real and not realistic... its trying to put you yourself in that scenario and see how you would handle each situation. Sounds pretty funky!
 
Trusted review and gamesradar review have sold it for me... it sounds superb, just what i want in an alien game.
 
Lol I was watching some geezer on Twitch playing it. He hooked up a heart rate monitor to his PC. Must say it gave me the willies just watching it let alone playing.
 
It seems to be quite good. Do you not have weapons in it, is that the whole idea?

Not that I've bought it - just watched the above video :) May go get it later on.
 
HAHA! Funny you say that, actually used that very term in reference to this game and console players today...

Haha... typical console gamer is completely content in lack of content, remaining in a thread discussing no discussions. PS4 owner perhaps?

I've only played about fifteen minutes and I'm already cacking it. I'm annoyed by the aliasing though. I thought we'd got rid of that for this gen.
 
Anyone think the Weyland-Yutani lawyer sounds like the latest Tomb Raider? Seen some really insane draw distance issues once or twice but 99% of what I've seen (and that's a lot) has been awesome.
 
This sounds like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which I thoroughly enjoyed, where you are weaponless and hide/avoid to survive.
 
I was really looking forward to getting home tonight, turning off the lights and playing this in the dark......

Except for the fact that Game haven't delivered my copy, the only reason I ordered with them over the likes of Amazon and Shopto was because of the Ripley edition. Is anyone else fed up of retailer exclusive DLC?
 
Just wanted to say. Think iv been playing this about 3 hours so far and only just had my first encounter with the alien and it was amazing. I really like that they don't just shove the alien in your face and it takes a long time to eventually see it. Things are always more intense and scary when you can't see the monster only hear it. A bit like the original jaws movie. It was so great because you only saw it a few times but when you did it was memorable.

The first time you meet the alien in this is heart pounding and really makes you feel like your in the original Alien movie.
Loving it so far as a huge fan of the alien movies this is by far the best alien game iv played.
