Alien: Isolation...

How does it look graphically? you can never tell properly from videos how good it actually looks but it did look great from the screenshots.

Okay... I think I'm gonna have to nip into Game tomorrow and pick it up on my lunch break. Will be dark by time I get home and installed it etc :)

Something new to properly test out my new GTX760!

Anyone found a way of forcing more AA on the game? The jaggies are annoying me too much. I've tried forcing it in the nvidia control panel but it doesnt really work.

Looks like my nostromo edition + season pass has also given me the last survivor DLC that is meant to be ripley edition exclusive. Just been playing it and its rather good!

Dunno if i should play with using headphones or not? I do have a decent speaker setup, but i'm not sure if that beats headphones for immersion.

My speakers make mincemeat of the ambience and "ship" sounds in this,. it feels like I'm in the Nostromo the way bangs and noises rumble through my chair :D

The game runs beautifully. Pulling 70+ fps at 3440x1440. Enabled HDAO as it set itself to "Standard" for SSAO but everything else set itself to Ultra. Looks really nice especially the lighting effects.

need to play more after some out of hours work stuff tonight.

Well i caved in and got it despite having major doubts about it being interesting beyond the first hour... it's cool at first with headphones on and curtains pulled but as soon as you've been killed once there is literally no fear factor anymore which is what i was worried about. Once you take the fear out you're left with a game of hide n seek which gets very repetitive.

It looks quite pretty though bar the crappy AA
