Alien: Isolation...

Think I've just dipped in on this!

I bought what I thought was the bog standard version on Kinguin for 18 quid this morning, just downloaded it to find I've got all DLC too!

Now, I bought the Crew Expendable DLC from Kinguin as an extra and it seems I've got it as part of the "glitch" so I'll share the wealth - in a few hours time I'll post the unused Steam code on here as a "first to see gets it" freebie :-)

Button by the airlock?! I saw no button :o Do I need to get down into the primary duct first and progress through? The alien quickly sniffs me out!
 
Hey chaps, enjoying the game but I'm stuck in medical and may need some help:

I have collected the code for medical supplies and I'm at the point where heading back and the alien makes a proper appearance and keeps circling around the area. I have tried hiding under a few medical beds but I dont see a way out of this area :eek: Do I need to actively do something to make the bad man (alien) go away :(

Help would be much appreciated.
 
Wait, noise makers? I can't craft any as I have none in the radial menu to craft via. Where can I find them?
 
Tried to for about an hour.
To be honest, I got bored quickly.
Also seems to be a massive lag with camera control with controller.

In the DLC? There are no blueprints in the Crew Expendables! HJust watching a walkthrough and even this guy didn't walk past any not does he have a noisemaker!

Bit of a tip for that part.....when the alien starts its descent from the vent.....you have a good few seconds to run past him (to your left) run down the corridor and punch the code into the door and move onto the next section....and by the time he drops down and walks round the other way, you are already through to the next section.

Unfortunately for you, this is the first part of having to do missions with the Alien constantly hunting you down and walking about where you are.....you have to use your motion monitor......sneak about and hide a lot....its like this now for most of the game. (or at least for as far as I have got).
 
So many stuck on medical, I didn't use any flares or noise makers but got out, that being said it took some doing, back and forth and in and out of the locker, hiding behind stuff and then hiding in the next room before holding my breath and going for it. :eek:
 
Medical is the first real run in with the Alien, just use headphones and motion tracker, take it slow and you can stealth through it. It just takes a bit of patience and a lot of hiding, the beds are good. The Alien isn't that smart.

Oh, get used to this gameplay. The Alien is tethered to you most of the game.
