The game runs beautifully. Pulling 70+ fps at 3440x1440. Enabled HDAO as it set itself to "Standard" for SSAO but everything else set itself to Ultra. Looks really nice especially the lighting effects.

need to play more after some out of hours work stuff tonight.

How is the native 21:9 please ?

My copy is with the royal mail for delivery tomorrow sadly Game told them to not deliver until original release day :(
 
I'll upload a ShadowPlay video later tonight so when you play it back you'll know exactly what it looks like but it is supported nicely with a fov slider too. 75 fov is very very wide angle!

Nope nothing today waiting on the same edition. Game told Royal Mail not to deliver until the original release day 7th Oct so should be tomorrow. They sent mine Friday AM I would have got it saturday if they did not instruct Royal Mail to hold for delivery as usual on official release day :rolleyes:

The change in release date also screws up people who wanted to buy the season pass its now £19.99 was £11.99 until 4PM today :(

Oh BTW, someone said there was no run, you can run!

Probably don't want to run often though as you make a racket lol.

The mouse movement feels like Dead Rising 3.
 
It looks nice but sounds pretty boring. Hide in a cupboard from Alien for 10 minutes, it may find you, it may not. Run, hide in another cupboard for 10 minutes. Get stabbed in the back by a big alien shlong
 
OK, the atmosphere is intense, and I've not even seen the Alien once in an hour of play! Love it. Taking my time, taking in the environment and the sounds are amazing even on my crappy cheap Logitech speakers. We all know what's gonna come, but I don't think that matters, the atmosphere does it all very well.
