Aliens : Colonial Marines - FPS ( They're back ! )

AVP was great, AVP2 was amazing and my first online experience!! But the new AVP was a disappointment, hopefully the marines can deleiver something better.

I kind of agree, although I did find the Marine side on the new AVP pretty damn good. The Alien/Pred side was pretty poor.

Looks like another generic rails shooter from the videos. There's no real atmosphere or build-up, the usual gung-ho dialogue and enemies plus typical scare tactics.

Ever since 1986 or so when I saw Aliens as a much too young kid I dreamed of being able to explore the abandoned colony with a team of well armed marines. I'd have the extra large gun of course.

Maybe this game could finally do it justice and be the best Aliens game since the Konami arcade machine from back in the day (what an amazing game that was.)

Even if it's simply Left 4 Dead 2 with Aliens instead of Zombies it'd have potential to be truly amazing.
