It's not religious fervour, Aliens is an action film at the end of the day.

I just hate stupid stuff. And bad ret-cons of storys are stupid.

I have not played this and was thinking about adding it to my steam account as I wait for the release of Alien Isolation but some of the reviews are well shocking .... I used to love playing A v P ...

I picked it up as I thought my love of Alien stuff would get me past the crappiness. I was wrong. I think I played for an hour and just got tired of the unsatisfactory shooting etc.

Out of curiosity, whats the lowest price people have seen it for? Game had it for £2 or there abouts in store yesterday for PC lol.

I bought it for £2 and now I feel robbed!!

I heard it was bad but thought I could get some enjoyment out of it but no. As a massive Aliens fan it is disappointing beyond belief.

I would say the story of entering the Sulaco was the best bit of the game. Once on LV426 in the remains of the Hadleys Hope colony it just got from bad to worse. Endless waves of Aliens and junk heap piles for scenery with a few APC's put into the mix.

How could a game delayed for so long end up so bad?

Thankfully Alien Isolation looks like it we be the real gem of this film licence.

Just use hola on Chrome to translate and buy it. Said it before, ignore the main campaign and get the Stasis Interrupted DLC, much better. Well, as far as the story goes anyway, shooting is as meh as ever.

People are still talking about this turd? Everyone who bought it not only should have got a refund (I did) but a serious amount of compensation.

Games a total fraud and looked even worse after 2 years in development - developers shouldnt be allowed to get away with this kinda crap (looking at EA/Dice)

I know I keep saying it, but the Stasis Interrupted DLC is actually quite good. Bit like alien isolation 'cept you can shoot the ******.

Yes, the game could had been better, but it was still fun. I really miss playing COOP with others and the L4D escape game in it.

My PC can't handle the graphics changes, but even the changes to alien speed/toughness and the option to turn off all the HUD elements really changes the game around.

Tempted to try the mod however not nodded any pc games since steam came about as I worry about being banned by steam how do mods work now? Back in day was usual just swapping files over

I played it original back when it came out on Consol yes it was bad but it wasn't the worse game to ever come out.

Though i have to say. I only played this with friends and we had a blast. But if we made the fun or it was there for us i couldn't say.
