Offtopic kind of but I listened to that audio book version of what was supposed to be Alien 3 and I know the internet really loves to big up that script in particular but honestly it was just a generic action flick with Hicks pretty much being an action movie hero like John McClane became.

Thought it was pretty good, although I'm sure there was also another bizzare alternate script as well.

It has huge potential from the footage I've seen but I have some concerns the combat seems a touch cartoony/borderlands which for me feels out of place - I think it might pay them to have optional casual or hardcore approaches as these days people seem quite split between that. The input also seemed to suffer a bit from console like approaches though that might be due to how early in development it is and/or personal settings of those playing - I hope they have a decent range of settings for things like mouse input and how you have your 3rd person setup - The Division for instance does it excellently so that it almost feels like a first person game a lot of the time but with the benefits for a genre like this of 3rd person.

Not that I know of, if they have one it will have to be soon as its due to release in 2 months time.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it early just to see how the game plays and get a feel for it. With it being so close to release i doubt whatever we get now will be far off the real thing.

Sadly Isolation was lightning in a bottle and with the team disbanded and on other projects, doubt we'll ever get anything 'Aliens' to that standard again.

Incredibly, considering how highly rated the game is now by gamers, it didnt actually sell very well.
