seems unbelievable so many times i have gone through and through that game its just brilliant.

Yeah I would kill for another Isolation but it ain't happening.

I thought I read somewhere they were doing another Isolation but more VR orientated ?

I know that CA is working on a new IP and most people who worked on AI aren't there anymore.
Could be picked up by a new developer perhaps?

I saw an article a couple months back claiming that Disney was trying to get an Alien Isolation 2 produced but I'd really hope the old team would come back for the sequel
Yeah it was rumoured, like yourself I'd like the same team to do it due to how much care and love clearly went into the first one

Definitely worth grabbing a second hand headset on the cheap and giving it a go, plus all the other VR horror games out there

There are a few positive previews out today it seems. Hopefully the final game manages to be fun.

Easier to run on various machines, i couldnt believe it when my i7-7700HQ, gtx 1060, 16gb ddr4 Laptop cant run metro exodus enhanced at all. Graphics too fancy

42 here, i don't think my age will ever make a difference to my deep ingrained horror/fear of the Alien, VR and up close and personal is a total nopefest.
I don’t play scary games. I don’t play games to have a heart attack from all the jumpscares, I play to have fun. This is more Aliens the movie than Alien or Isolation though.
Jumpscares can be fun, I loved my playthrough of Isolation...I did not age 5 years while playing that game, honest. (insert hidethepainharold.gif)
In all seriousness though, Isolation is the best and I expect, will be the best Alien game we ever get, engaging story, superb level design but my heart can't take it again. it's due a replay, i'd love to replay, I also like a regular heart rate

It looks very average to me, I believe it's launching at a lower price point so it might be worth it on those grounds, seems like they have tried to be faithful to the franchise and there's a few nice details (Artificial people as the bots ).
I just don't get a sense of any atmosphere or dread seeing as you are mowing down waves of Xenos effortlessly. I hope it's decent though, could still be fun with friends.
