LiE does seem to have gotten a particularly good one tbh.
If your aren't happy it's got to go back tbh, expensive monitor!
I spoken to Dell, they won't exchange it, but I can return for a refund

And there’s no guarantee what you’ll get in exchange will be better. It could be worse.
Ultrawide just looks too narrow on the vertical for my liking, no different to a 24in or hardly any difference worth speaking of.
34" is the same vertical as a 27" 16:9 screen.

In my book a 27" screen isn't really a worthwhile upgrade over 24", hence why I'm sticking with my original plan for a 32in panel, It was just the novelty of possibly going Ultrawide that tempted me...for a while.

indeed his loss the screen is awesome, i have no dead pixels and very very light bleed thats even hard to see in dark scenes so i will be keeping mine as i think i won the lotto
though there is one niggle that sometimes bothers me is the screen is not bright enough. i have it set to calibration 37 brightness 75 contrast and its slightly dull but what a great picture when calibrated though it is calibrated for night time viewing and movies and games
just wish it had a little more brightness.;.
None of this makes any sense. You wouldn't be upgrading to 27", you'd be upgrading to 34" ultrawide which has the same height as a 27". You want to go 32" which will have the same pixel height as a 27", but stretched and worse looking due to lower ppi.In my book a 27" screen isn't really a worthwhile upgrade over 24", hence why I'm sticking with my original plan for a 32in panel, It was just the novelty of possibly going Ultrawide that tempted me...for a while.
