All change at McLaren

Could we see Hamilton go back to McLaren?

I can't remember if his Merc contract is for 2 or 3 years, although they can be broken easily enough anyway. And with potentially Ross Brawn as team principal and Ron as his boss that might be appealing for Lewis?

Cant see that happening any time soon but you never know

Writing letters. My Mrs received a personally signed letter from him yesterday. :D I'm framing it.

Wow cool!

I wonder if MW could be moving to help BE as he'll need an assistant this year at least.

JB has said he doesn't want to be team principle since Alain Prost said it was the worst thing he ever did! I think he'd do a good job but I'd like to see JB on the Sky team.

Andi.

 Which other JB are you talking about?

Sorry guys ;-) Jenson Button (JB) has been interviewed in the past about how long he will stay at McLaren and his response was that he would probably end his F1 days there. That prompted the question of him carrying on after driving and to take over from Martin Whitmarsh (MW). His response was that he had discussed that with Alain Prost (AP) who had admitted that his time as Team Principle was the worst time of his life in F1. But I still think Jenson would be a good front man.

On that side note Bernie Ecclestone (BE) has joked with Christian Horner (CH) about him (CH) taking over when Bernie retires. I suspect he has had the same joke with MW (Martin Whitmarsh)

Andi.

PS Yes I do tend to watch more of the F1 background than the actual racing :-)

About time Whitmarsh got replaced, McLaren have been on a massive downward spiral the last few seasons. As much as Magnussen could well be the future, the whole Perez signing/firing just reeked of a panic move.

I'm not sure Brawn will end up there but I do think RD should do everything in his power to make it happen. I think it's their best chance of getting out a competitive car next season.
