Torres in form? Come off it.
That is form. What is wrong with you? In form? My god.
surely Chelsea need Sturridge because of the home grown players rule, marginalising him seems like a bad idea. Another reason not to sign Hulk.Sturridge may do until /if hte Hulk sale goes through as expected
I assume he's saying that Chelsea have no problem retaining players even when Barca, Real or City want them. Robben went to Real, but Mourinho had lost patience with Robben's 'injuries' by that point and didn't want him anyway.

I think that's somewhat true - it's really only been Cole (Ashley) Ivanovic, Essien, Carvalho etc. that have been linked with interest from bigger clubs, and of course those clubs in question have never willing to pay big fees and wages to mere defenders and robust midfielders....sniffing around for the likes of Beckham, RVN & Ronaldo
I haven't seen this, apart from the quote out of context last week, but if he's like Fabregas and makes a worthy contribution before moving on then it woud be difficult to be resentful.Hazard though has never made any bones about the fact that his long term future is in Spain.
Interesting, he only scored against Man Utd 3 times, I thought it was more.

3 goals against us for Liverpool (twice at OT) and once last season for Chelsea (again at OT).
It's not so much about being resentful (I'm certainly not resentful over Ronaldo leaving) it's more the endless saga that comes with bringing in a player who makes it known from the start that you're not the club he wishes to end his career with (although granted that wasn't the case with Beckham and RVN it was more the public courting from those high up at Madrid that was the irritation with those transfers)
Honestly, if Hazard (an attacking/scoring MF who you need and apparently had agreed terms with + SAF wanted him & MU only ever sign players he wants) actually chose to sign with you even after this media fueled saga mentioned Real or Barca in a leading interview you wouldn't want him? Even if he was one of the hottest prospects out there?
It's not about not wanting the player it's more a case of not wanting the saga that comes along with said player, I'm not going to say I wish we never signed Ronaldo because of the endless speculation summer after summer that came with him but I'd certainly be mindful over it with any future signings. It's a little hard to answer your question in relation to Hazard though because I said all along I didn't feel he was what Man Utd needed (not compared to an actual central midfielder anyway).
its a bargain if its true what we are paying for kagawa,he will create allot of interest from Japan to united aswell, should be a nice bit of business
Ok.
By the way, are you actually aware that Hazard didn't say that the current club he's signing for is not the club he wants to end his career with?
You do know that his references to Real & Barca were just in response to media led questions?
I can understand why you may not have followed Hazard all that closely given that up until beating Bayern you didn't even have a cat in hells chance of signing him but the players reference to playing in Spain is much deeper than just an interview with the Daily Fail a few days ago. Hazard said months ago that long term he sees himself playing in Spain for Real or Barca.
'England isn't exactly a million miles away, so it wouldn't be any great upheaval,' he said. 'It all depends on the project put to Eden and the ambition he senses from whoever he is talking to. Real like him, and he likes them but, as with any player, he would view Manchester United as an great opportunity.
'If Roman Abramovich really is providing funds to take Chelsea back to the top again, then they would be interesting, as well. He would consider that, for sure.'
I've probably followed the genuine saga closer than you have -
Eden Hazard said:‘I appreciate England a lot, Germany as well, but my characteristics correspond more to Spanish football.’ the 20-year old said.
‘Furthermore, this country corresponds to my temperament, the heat and the beautiful stadiums.’
Eden Hazard said:'Spain is perhaps more my style of game but (if I move there) it must be to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.'
