What happened to the prodigal star, Gotze? hype seems to have died down a bit around him

Not seen much of Lewandski so i cant comment too much. im not sure if its just a great year rather than a great player. But i guess hes only 23, wheras falcao is like 26. But then Aguero is only 23 so it will be interesting to see who is the part.

Gotze is very good still but they want a fortune for him and it's put people off. Plus he'll probably go to Bayern if anywhere.

This. The very best German players usually end up at Bayern and only move on if they fail. If Gotze moves to another other club, assuming Bayern want him, he simply isn't as good as everyone thinks.

What about Ozil? I bet Bayern would have been interested in him had Real not swooped when they did. Gotze's been injured a lot though recently and IIRC he's only just signed a new 6 year contract

You guys should know that you couldn't be further from the truth and there will be tens and tens of clubs in for either player. They are both considered amongst the very best youngsters in Europe. They won't be cheap and there will be lots of competition. Look at Sahin, Madrid snapped him up last summer, everybody knew about Dortmund a while ago.

I did say RELATIVELY - compared to Gotze, Gaitan, Sneijder and majority of other Utd "targets" according to the press at least, I think it was a fair comment

According to reports Barcelona are interested in Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

El Mundo Deportivo says Barca chiefs want to add a new centre-forward to coach Tito Vilanova's squad this summer and that the Bulgarian is under consideration.

United are understood to be willing to listen to offers for their club-record signing.

However, it is believed that boss Sir Alex Ferguson has warned he will only go for the right price.

I hope that materialises for Berbatov, would be nice for him. :)

There are also reports that Liverpool might be after him as well... :o
 
Fergie's confirmed Scholes will stay on next season and that it will be both his and Giggs' final season
 
Haha just read that West Ham are all set to release Ravel Morrison from his contract, yep that's right the lad with the massive hype that they only signed from us in January :o
