Haha just read that West Ham are all set to release Ravel Morrison from his contract, yep that's right the lad with the massive hype that they only signed from us in January :o

What were the reasons (bad press / something in his "private" life - I cant see them giving him such a tiny chance otherwise)

Fergie's confirmed Scholes will stay on next season and that it will be both his and Giggs' final season

Im sure they will complete their coaching badges before then, so Im sure they will stay at the club in that kind of capacity.

Will be sorry to see both of them go, but the team need to move on.

This surely implies Gill /SAF are going to try and get at least two CM's this summer (even if one is know for his wide play / versatility)

i'd love berbatov back at WHL. him and VDV could be a real force.

I'd be suprised if it's true. It's the usual twitter BS IMO. He'll at the very least get a chance pre-season.

was on talk sport, not sure if already posted

man United have made another massive stride in their bid to sign Shinji Kagawa as Borussia Dortmund admitted he will not be extending his contract at the club.

Sir Alex Ferguson has made the Japanese star his number one target this summer, even flying out to Germany to watch him star in Dortmund’s German Cup win against Bayern Munich.

And now the Bundesliga champions’ sporting director Michael Zorc has revealed that should offers come in for Kagawa, who has one year left on his current deal, then they would negotiate a sale.

"I had a meeting on Monday morning with his agent - Shinji Kagawa told him that he definitely will not extend his contract with us," Zorc is quoted as saying by Revier Sport.

"Should offers come now for Kagawa, we will deal with them and negotiate."

Kagawa has been the focal point behind Dortmund’s success this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting eight more in 31 league matches as Jurgen Klopp's side have won the league and cup double.

This. The very best German players usually end up at Bayern and only move on if they fail. If Gotze moves to another other club, assuming Bayern want him, he simply isn't as good as everyone thinks.

That's not strictly true. Some players have such love for their club that they wouldn't consider joining a rival even if that rival was traditionally the strongest team in the league. To say that if he doesn't go to Bayern he simply isn't as amazing as everyone says is wrong imo.

 he was supposed to be on a proper contract too!

Who's this Dutch lad supposedly being chased by Spurs?

EDIT: Jan Verthonge

You mean Jan Vertonghen, pretty much every prem club without an amazing cb has been linked with him for about two seasons (which is about how long he has been world class on FM...)

Not seem many players with such loyalties in the more modern era of football, there have been a few but most tend not to even consider leaving in the first place...

Gotze is very good still but they want a fortune for him and it's put people off. Plus he'll probably go to Bayern if anywhere.

He's just been injured almost all season so is out of the spotlight obviously. The price tag won't put anybody off, Dortmund's best player

Not a chance will RVP jump ship and join City, he's got more class than that

Do you mean it will show class to stick with Arsenal generally or specifically not joining City? If it's the latter then I'm really not sure what you're getting at. Joining City is no longer just about the money; for both football and financial reasons, it would be hard to argue that leaving Arsenal for City wouldn't make sense for RvP.
