Could you have imagined Berba back at Spurs? Why Levy didn't go back in for him at that price is beyond me.

Would cover up Newcastles massive lack of right backs and get Richards some games! Everyone's a winner in that one
modric was always going, VDV was pointless with having sig. he's nearly 30, didn't have a great last season, couldn't play a full 90 and had injury worries. we were better to cash in on him now. he's a great player but we had to make a decision to free up money.
the squad rotation is a valid point, we have lost depth. we shall see what happens but our wage bill had to be cut and we had been offered fair prices for both VDV and modric. had we been letting VDV go for £5m, i'd have been miffed but his sale has allowed us to buy moutinho. VDV wants and needs to play. we could've played sig over him constantly and he goes in january for less than what we got for him today.
with rotation, we're still strong in midfield but not so much defence and our attack is still a little on the weak side. still, the window's still open.
lloris is now at spurs lodge.
I think Chelsea are done, apart from any more players going out on loan.
As is the CL squad can't be any more than 22 of the first team, 23 if Hilario is dropped in favour of a youth GK. Sturridge will probably stay because of this, it would be a problem accommodating additional non home-grown players.

Rumoured that spurs are in for Llorente, doubt it will come off, or if indeed its true, but if it did, well if Calsberg did transfer windows.....

Wouldn't take Yossi back tbh, left for money to find himself rotting on the bench. Not what we need.
I wouldn't welcome him back. 1 decent season in 3 - total **** the other 2.
