Even though he has lost his pace, he hasn't lost his eye for goal, could be just what we need, someone to stick it in the net when we get the ball to the area.
I was heart broken when he left, but would still take him back.
From what I've read Maicon has been poor the past two season at Inter. At 31 he's past his prime hence why he's happy to be back up to Zabaleta.
Genuinely curious here, any idea why he didn't play very much last season for Inter?
Inter as a team have been poor. I think he has just got a bit stale at Inter and I think Mancini feels the same way.
He still scored some cracking goals and got some good assists in those 2 years so he is not past it I don't feel.
Zaba is backup to everyone in defence so that isn't the case.
They must be pretty worried considering the rest of CHAD has gone.
Gotta love transfer deadline day.

The comments Rodgers has said about Sterling suggests that's very much the case.Hahaha
Downing must be fine with being cover to Sterling this season then.
