All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

Yup I'll be sticking with Three for sure.

I was leaning the same way. I'm in a sim only One Plan contract until March and was sure I'd stick with Three but lately tried an EE payg sim. Where I live and work signal and speedtest results are very similar between the two. Where EE beats Three is the latter often has some latency when browsing and can be so bad that web pages can time out. I thought it was maybe busy websites but a side by side comparison and EE doesn't have this prob at all. Anything that uses data seems that much slicker with the EE sim which has surprised me somewhat.

There is no 4g in my area though EE aren't too far away. Though I don't really need unlimited data for phone use or tethering It has been nice. I'm not sure if I'll stay with Three or go to EE. I've got a Dan and Phil :eek: 2 month EE sim with more data than I'd ever use so I'll continue to compare the two.

I got the 12 month version which is similar but also allows 4gb of Tethering, mine was for my son and my tip would be ask for zero credit if you are putting children onto three which protects you from any unexpected bills

Is this for real? O.o

Pay as you go unlimited data for £15/month (30 days). It kind of looks too good to be true. Is anyone using this plan?

This is not specific to the sim

my wife has a 321 payg sim and i topped up £15 and purchased this "add on", so works with any 3 payg sim

good price imo, although personally id want tethering in my own tariff.

That's better than the pay monthly version isn't it? Why do they do that?!

From the posts I read above yours it looks like this one will not allow for tethering, although there is nothing I can see on-line that would suggest you can't do it. I ordered one to see how good is it.

It says in the T&C s Tethering not allowed. The 12month plan is the same price and gives Tethering so unless you don't want to be tied in I can't see why you wouldn't do that instead

any one noticed any slow down of three internet speeds recently?

in 4G areas i now get a max 20mb, used to be way higher before

I got 20Mb on H+ last night, I'm starting to think my phone is reading or showing 4g as H+, as I've not once had a 4g symbol show, and I'm in a 4g area.

I've had way more than 20mb on 4G.

I've had over 20mb on H+, and below 20mb on 4G though, it does vary!

You can get up to 42Mbps on 3G so you're wrong I'm afraid.

I'm aware that HSPA+ can connect at 42Mb and HSPA at 14Mb.

I should have clarified that I was messing with my phone for a bit (radio settings), and my previous speed tests in the exact same location were 10Mb at most, and around 5-8 on average.

I regularly hit 30mbit early in the morning. If I do a speedtest in the afternoon it is indeed around 10mb.

That is also on HSPA+
