All Three One Plans to be cancelled from today

They are meant to be introducing small cells, 800MHz spectrum (which as it's lower should be better at penetrating buildings etc IIRC) and also VoiceOverLTE to improve call quality over the course of this year.
Sounds good that they are working on things to improve the network and not letting it stagnate, but we shall see how this works in reality.

Thank god! The inTouch app is a PITA with how they do SMS all over the place and the lack of call migration is bad.

Quick question.

My girlfriend is going to the states for a few days next week. If she gets a three pay as you go sim now with all you can eat data can she immediately use it abroad or do you need to be with a period of time first?

Also (may be better off asking in the apple forum) - does she need to do anything so things don't get messy with 2 sims and her apple ID (she has an iPhone 6)?

Been on The One Plan (now the plan with no name) SIM only since May last year. No call or anything from Three. Debating changing price plan but it really seems to be the best value I can get @ £20 a month right now.

Same here still on the one plan paying £20 now way I'm changing this plan their new plans are shocking.

I recently moved away from the one plan to sim only to save myself £20 a month, but I never got any calls from Three at all.

Still on the One plan here, £15, no-one has ever contacted me, contract expired June 2014

My broadband is 2.5M so I use it for big downloads, usually get 25M on 3G DC-HSDPA

It could be that as an android user it doesn't know you are tethering :) I know my default Z3 settings meant it can't see i'm tethering and a fairly easy non root method means it's trivial todo.

I haven't been contacted yet either, 30day rolling contract from the start and windows phone.

And until I'm contacted I have no intention of contacting them or changing.

Been using the £15 pay as you go option for the past three years now, gets me 300 minutes which I very rarely us up, unlimited texts and unlimited data which allows me to use my phone as a hotspot for my in car internet radio, sat nav etc. Not once have I ever been pulled up for using too much data, normally within the 6 - 8 gig a month.

Would that mean no 4g for iphone 5 users then? A little concerning as I've only just signed up for a Three 12 month contract.

The way I read it is you are fine as long as you stay with your contract - even if it is out of contract period.
The issue occurs when you need to update it with three - this is nothing different. If you scroll back a bit that was why I came out of the one plan as their contracts are getting more expensive - only natural as they are the only unlimited plan on the market :(
