Most mmo's I'd pay to have general chat removed![]()
From what I'm aware the general chat is enabled with an item that doesn't cost any money, but you have to go through the item shop to use it. Maybe they are using it in some kind of item shop tutorial, or maybe to help spamming since you might have to register a bank card to the account to be able to use the item shop at all.The one thing which really baffled and surprised me when I read up on the game was this thing about not being able to use the general chat channel unless you pay. That really does seem rather stupid and hopefully its something they will reconsider.

The shop does sell a megaphone which costs money, but that enables a worldwide chat (think of broadcasts from Warcrat how they can reach any zone). Although hopefully you can turn this off in chat options, as it'll get spammy.
I think it will become very popular once it's released properly if they manage the game correctly and it could be come a viable alternative to WoW itself, as I said in a previous post, it's basically free-to-play WoW.
Are there instances and raids like WoW?
