Am I doing something wrong? My arms are killing me

I feel bullied in this thread :(

My uncle who is a black belt in wing chun said I could firm up with bags of sugar ...it's not all about big weights... He mentioned low weights high reps

People put a lot of their own time and effort in to giving advice in this sub forum and you've already been given a lot of it in a massive thread which you posted last year, you're now back asking all the same things so it doesn't surprise me that you're getting a frosty reception.

People start cinema projects get side tracked with life and then ask questions again

I answer in a non judgemental way...

Being called a liar and troll is not helping me...

There seems to be so many different views on what to do...I don't know my arse from my elbow...

Zero cardio...then run on the treadmill

Low carb diets .....no eat your fruit and spuds...

Big weights...low weights

Sit-ups....no sit-ups...

One barbell....you're kidding right?

You need to start again and actually state WHAT you want.

In all seriousness, you might want to start a log and say where you want to take things, put up some pics then people will actually have an idea of what you need to do to get to where you want to be
 
what do you want? 6 pack? then sort your diet out, you'll have a 6pack but still look like a skinny noob.

you want to look like a man? go and lift heavy, sign up for gym and eat loads.

stronglifts 5x5 is a great starting point.

I would say im very tolerant but even i think your trolling with the Wing chun and sugar replies to serious posts.

Come back when you bought a gym membership. If your serious about it im sure you can afford to splash out £15.00 a month.

Yeah I questioned that too...apparently doing the moves in wing chun with bags of sugar improves control strength and form I have been told...something to be done behind closed doors me thinks.

I have contemplated a log but I'm a bit scared of the back lash...different with both my home cinema threads as they are badass period.
 
If you show you're serious rather than just banging on about 1 10kg dumbbell and some bags of sugar you'll be surprised just how different and more helpful the people round here are.
 
Start a log and be open to advice. Nobody will be frosty/abusive with you if you try to learn.

And you must also remember that it is perfectly possible to - ahem - 'firm up' with bodyweight/Wing Chun movements using bags of sugar, as this term only refers to the 'turgidity' or 'perfusion' of the muscle with blood.

If you want to look good with no clothes on, then you need to lift progressively heavier weights to make those perfused muscles bigger from a structural standpoint. :)

Have a look at the OP of the GymRats 2014 thread as there are lots of guides and links as to how to do this sort of thing. ;)
 
Join Gym, make sure it has a squat rack and a bench :)
Start a beginners program like stronglifts 5x5 or starting strength.
Read Gordy diet thread
Keep an eye on and perfect form, checkout the form thread on here. Video footage would be great.

I find those little pink dumbbells very effective personally.

Errr... why are you posting pics of yourself half naked? Don't get me wrong - I'm sure I'd buy them for a dollar/whatever -but it's not strictly required. Some of us are just massively, massively vain/over-confident. :D
