Am I right to complain?

Its crap, but if his favourite beer is Guiness and his favourite band is Coldplay then its quite possible he wont give a monkies.
 
compared to what was around before they came out I think they arrived like a breath of fresh air. Without them we'd still be wallowing in the likes of Travis. Those were dark days.
 
while he was around before coldplay he didn't actually get a hit until AFTER parachutes had been released. Babylon got traction in 2000 with the remix for radio whereas Yellow was released mid 1999 IIRC. Don't quote me on that, but that's when I remember them breaking through into regular airplay.
