I'm 35 and still going strong, been gaming my whole life from the age of 10 when I got the Spectrum for Christmas!
Sure I have less time now with a wife to keep happy, and I don’t get quite as excited as I did as a kid reading about the latest ‘Crash Smash’, but I find games can be just as addicting in later life.
I’ve spent a lot of time and money over the piece, like anyone who has a season ticket for the football or is into cars etc. I like those things too, in fact I enjoy lots of popular culture which is good to keep yourself interested in life but not so good for the bank balance!
The awkwardness is in telling women that I enjoy games. But that’s a whole different topic!
Why would it not be something you’d bring up on a date, whereas saying that you sat on the sofa and watched endless episodes of Desperate Housewives get you brownie points?
