So NZXT replied to my AM4 x62 bracket request.

They are telling me that for Europe the sellers of the cooler should have/get the brackets and provide them.

So, can OCUK confirm if they willl ship the brackets with the order, auto-ship when they arrive (assuming they are on the way) or if we will need to open a ticket with OCUK to get them?

Thanks!

Hi,

I will speak to them tomorrow but at the moment i believe they will be available around the 15th. Postage may need to be paid when sending brackets out but we will work this out over the next few days.

But the manufacturers (well NZXT anyway) say they will not ship to us and to get them from you?

Given the cost of CPU plus board and cooler alone (likely much more if RAM etc. is also ordered), I think it would be great good will/CS to just post out one to everyone who ordered a cooler as well for free when you get them and we can make do with a PIB/AM3 hooks one in the meantime. :)

Hi,

We will have stock of the bracket around the 15th but they will only be sending a small amount to us and the rest will be shipped direct from the warehouse in the Netherlands. NZXT have even setup a special option on the product on there website so you can request one. NZXT have told me to tell you guys to request a bracket from here - https://www.nzxt.com/am4-bracket. I think they want resellers to be the official source however we will have stock later than them so always worth requesting from NZXT first. I will update the plan as soon as we get the brackets.

Thanks, byt have they told their CS people? They (CS) are saying to go to your retailer even though I requested one from them. It seems a bit messy/disorganised. Did they not know about the need for this weeks ago and prepare? Apparently not.

I know this is annoying and I have no explanation why they were not able to produce brackets until now and others already have the brackets. This hurts sales for me so I am eager to get hold of them in stock to help people out. Not sure what NZXT are playing at but I had this from NZXT official:

"We should be sending reasonable amount of spares to OCUK for you to carry out service for end users - spares should be arriving you guys around 3rd week of March.

We will also suggest end users might consider to contact NZXT via ticketing service that we will send brackets from our DE team. This is a back-up solution from NZXT. Bracket should be aimed to start to supply around 3rd week of March."

I'm hoping a reasonable amount is not 20 units.

Got my BeQuiet AM4 kit from Germany this morning.

Great service from them, thought I'd have to use a cheap cooler until then. Now I just need a CPU and board to fit it to, lol.

I am looking for a new air cooler to use with my Ryzen 7 1700 and Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming K7. Just found out that my Alpenfoehn K2 CPU cooler is now discounted any recommendations price up to £60.

I do like the Alpenfoehn Olymp if I can get a new fitting kit from them free of charge

Thanks

Simon

How reliable are these Robbie_G, any issues with them? They look quite good and very similar to another well know brand.

Or would it be better to go for the CM AIO:

Cooler Master MasterLiquid 120 AIO 120mm - CPU Cooler

Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240 AIO 120mm - CPU Cooler

Looking to fit to a NZXT S340.

I notice other manufacturers are currently offering Free Kits when contacted directly will this be the case for Alpenfoehn, can anyone please confirm will this happen?

Alpenfohn has a notice on their site at the moment which seems to state that Caseking will be stocking their mounting hardware and they don't know when that will be. I think the notice says that coolers bought after January 1st can have a free upgrade kit by contacting their parts request form.

I contacted Alpenfohn a month or so ago and regarding the K2 they told me that a bracket will be available for it as the K2 uses the same mounts as some of their currently in production hardware.

That great news that a bracket will be available for the K2, just used their parts contact form requesting the upgrade AM4 kit

Here's the email I received from them incase anyone else is interested, it lists a few of the coolers that use a compatible bracket.

thank you for your inquiry. You are completly right Alpenfoehn is releasing

a mounting kit for the upcoming AM4. The K2 is EOL as well, but for coolers like the K2,

Olymp, Matterhorn and some more we have the same mounting. That means that the futuring

mounting kit will be available for every mentioned (like the K2) cooler.

Please give us some additional time that we can give you more information by further inquirys.

When the M4 has released we will be able to send our customers the needed mounting kits.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best Regards,
