Amanda Knox and her Ex found guilty of the Murder of Medredith Kercher

Mr Sollecito said he stayed at home working on his computer and did not remember whether Miss Knox spent the whole night with him or just part of it. Police told the jury that tests showed no-one used Mr Sollecito's computer during the time Miss Kercher died.

Sigh all he had to say he was playing wow.

She can rot if she's guilty, BUT is it wrong I think she's hot.

Sounds like you will be ending up in some sheets.

Got what she deserved and I hope the rest of her live is as miserable as can be. Wipe that god awful smile off her murderous face, I hope.

The Italian court also directed Knox and Sollecito to pay the Kercher family five million euros compensation (£4.5m) for the murder.

Knox was also told she must pay 40,000 euros (£36,000) to Patrick Lumumba, for defaming the local barman when she falsely accused him of the killing.

How does that work exactly?

They're not going to have that much money... where does this money come from?

Yeah, people get a slap on the wrist for murder all the time.

Your sarcasm eludes my humour. I meant our legal system in general, not specfically fatal cases.

It's a bit obvious that my comment didnt mean that our legal system hands out warnings to convicts in murder cases, don't you think? It's that obvious I feel stupid having to say this to you. If you got the wrong idea from what I said then... pity:)

Her auntie was on Sky News saying this is a game and the first case is always guilty verdict and they are looking forward to the appeals.

My opinon is that, they are much more likely to be guilty than innocent.

But the process has been botched entirely. It has brought doubt into the case. I don't know about the Italian system, but in the UK and USA, a verdict beyond all reasonable doubt must be made. Hence the furore.

The conditions under which some key evidence was retrieved for example, could have caused contamination. This doesn't mean it was contaminated, but nevertheless its a possibility.

The way Knox supposedly conducted herself, by pointing at an innocent man for example, is highly suspect. Not something you can quantify in court though.

Apparently the sentence will be reduced in appeals, which supposedly is "normal". Also will probably welcomed home like a hero after the sentence. Something a murderer shouldn't receive considering she will still have most of her life left.
