Amazing sotry of near-death experience

TK is a real ability I've seen it myself. Most people that do it won't advertise it on TV. Often too shift you consciouness to the level where you can do it requires a specific lifestyle (e.g monks sat in some cave in the himilayas or 10 years of daily deep meditation) that is the oppoestie to going round performing on TV.

It does seem odd that the only people allegedly in possession of this amazing gift, are always the ones who refuse to prove it.

They don't need to become professional performers to take up Randi's $1,000,000 challenge, so let's see some action please.

Once your organs are shutting down, thats it! Its even more insensitive to people who have lost someone to cancer.

Agreed. To be told that to live through a terminal disease you simply have to want it is like a slap in the face. Having watched people I know and love do everything they can to combat cancer and still fail, I actually find the story pretty disgusting.

Sorry but I can confirm along with thousands of other people who've had NDEs that what she says is true. Trust me your existance isn't some sort of cosmic accident like the state education system taught you.
No. It was an accident caused by my parents copulating like the horny devils they were.

So because you experienced something that you can't explain. It has to be afterlife ect.
My mums had several NDE including out of body experiences and is deeply religious. Even she thinks it's just chemicals in the brain.

"Then I actually "crossed over" to another dimension"

I was made to understand that, as tests had been taken for my organ functions (and the results were not out yet), that if I chose life, the results would show that my organs were functioning normally.

Translation:
Woman has daydreams of whats actually currently happening in the room and wants to make a quick buck while pretending to be special.

Load of arse.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the afterlife existed, science still struggles to explain how or why consciousness exists so until there is a good explanation I'll keep an open mind. As I have brought up many a time, I personally believe in pantheism and that consciousness / God is actually the fabric of the universe....but back to the science.

The most convincing near death experiences are from those who were born blind. There are a few cases of people blind from birth who during medical procedures died and were able to see for the first time. Bearing in mind these people have never seen even light or shadow or dream in any visual capacity describing the room and medical procedures, people present etc if true is extremely convincing.

The subject needs to be taken far more seriously. There was a Lancet report produced in 2001 that concluded there was something strange going on, but it needs much more research to determine if this is chemical or based on reality.

The sceptics should definetly read this report

I don't post in this section much, you probably don't even have a clue who I am (not like you should), but I like reading your posts. I like your individuality and open-mindedness, they are traits I believe we share, but...

I just found you on Last FM. I assume it's you... your name is pretty individual.

if you are going to make claims like that then you are going to prove it or stop flapping your gums

Absolutely not - I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Please don't take that as a derogatory remark, it's not meant that way. I should make it clear that divination is not the same as telekenesis [you probably knew that anyway], but it is a very simple thing that many people can do it they're connected in the right way. OcUK is probably the least openminded forum I've been on, so it would be pointless videoing anything. Even if I did, 90% of people would believe there was trickery involved. You can't convince people that don't want to be convinced.

That goes for the woman telling the story in the OP as well. Why has she not been on the news?

Because people would think it was rubbish. People like to hear about things they can connect with - real, tangible things that don't challenge their belief processes. Politics, war, celebrities, fashion, sport. These are the things that make up the news and always will do. If this story came to the BBC people would dismiss it as mumbo jumbo just as they're doing here - no matter how much proof there was.

Hmm...i wonder...given that she was basically dying...did they perhaps give her some morphine?

Hardcore painkillers + Natural endorphins + the natural terror of being near death = a whole wacky warehouse of perceptions.

Look, at the end of the day if you (or anyone) can really do any of this there is a million dollars up for grabs, until someone wins the money people making such claims are liars, deluded or both.

The thing which bugs me about life after death, is why do people think they're so important that there is some kind of fancy heaven waiting for us all.
What makes people think that they matter to the extent that there is eternal paradise waiting for us when we go..
Whats wrong with going back to how you were before you were born <absolute zerio> ? whats so terrible about that

Never understood the concept of afterlife, other than something we can think of to comfort us when thinking of death or relatives long gone.

Let's face it for who can do TK and are financialy motivated there's far more than $1,000,000 to be had in the casino's and without all the unecesary spotlight that winning the randi challange would bring.

It's like everything else. If someone could do it, someone would go public. Just like magicians reveal how they do tricks. You always get one person in a group who will show how things are done.

As no one has ever come forward then it can't be done.

As open minded as I am, I totally agree. If I truly believed that I had such powers I would be constantly trying to develop them and would be recording my progress on camera. Not for the 1 million dollars but simply for the earth shattering changes that would be caused by the proof.
