Sorry, which part of Africa do you live in?
Finally, someone else who sees how silly this 'saying' is.

Feeling like the odd one out without prime. £50 seems a bit much though?!

Being able to order on a Friday night and have it come Saturday and order on a Sunday and have it come Monday makes Prime very much worth it, as said before up to 4 people can use one Prime account, it's hardly a lot for a year £10 each.
Even better if they fail to deliver the next day you can complain and more often than not they extend your membership a month, I've had almost a free year out of them so far due to couriers letting them down.

A free month of what then?
Prime, every time they fail to deliver next day I complain, then give me an extra month of Prime, my membership was supposed to run out in Feb, it's been extended till December so far, yes couriers in my area can be pretty bad.

I think it's bloody ridiculous that for their 1 click service they automatically set your delivery preference to first class. And there isn't even an option to change this default. Hence, 1 click delivery is pointless for me as I only ever use next day or super saver.
Rant over.

I always select super saver delivery and 99% of the time, it arrives next-day or in 48hrs. Perhaps something to do with a massive distribution centre down the road from me.. Perhaps magic.I'm with you. I always choose the slowest/cheapest delivery option with everything. I've never got into being stressed that something hasn't turned up on the exact day that I think it will. And I've never been stressed about what time post turns up. I think that there are people that would be happy if they had something delivered at 08:30 but would moan their head off if it had turned up at 16:00 the day before.
I fail to see how prime is worth it. Yes it's nice to have stuff the next day but it wasn't that long ago before a next day service was something only a 1st class stamp could do. £50 a year for something you can have for £0 a year (by that I mean simple delivery, you get it delivered to you) seems a bit silly to me. If you really want it tomorrow why didn't you just order it last week?

ill have a look thanks! and greeting from High Hurstwood (near(ish) tunbridge wells!)There's an option on my 1-click settings for 1st class or next day as default. Have you actually checked your 1-click settings? I don't have prime so it's probably not offered.
Andi.
just had a look, it only offers paid delivery options D=you can change one click settings![]()

Must admit the first class delivery option of 1 click has caught me out a few times, it's a pain!
