Amazon Prime Day 2022

struggling to find anything which is significantly cheaper than 6 months ago. I am sure there are a few items but generally everything is up
yea most are fake discounts
like Eufy G30 save £100 apparently.
but it was always £225 with vouchers and there were always vouchers anyway, so its more like a 12.5% discount

it's all a big scam

But it's still 12.5% less than yesterday?

I know it's not how it's made it out to be but it's still the cheapest it has been all year? Is that wrong?

We all know you don't look at the discount against the RRP.

it's no more than the discount you would normally get on something thats been replaced by other models though, probably be the same discount next week

Got a couple of deals which I thought were worthwhile, if not exactly the sort of purchases to get excited about...

Tefal saucepan set I was going to buy anyway for £126.99, down to £56.99, pleased with that.

Philips Steam Iron that was apparently £84.99 before prime day (available elsewhere at £59.99 though), down to £39.99.

Also bought a Blink doorbell camera, Sync hub thing and Echo Dot for £56.97 all in for the parents, again, not too bad a saving.

Bought a Fire TV Stick for £18; have owned the Gen 1 since 2015, paid £30 for it, but it's running slow and buggy now.

Was considering Adobe Creative Cloud for £72, but I still have 3 months to go on my current subscription and it's usually £80 anyway around Black Friday/Cyber Day.

Got a ring wireless and echo show for £60 on the early prime sales. Been looking at them for a while and it’s the cheapest it’s dropped to, the show is a nice bonus.

Blink doorbell camera was on offer so I got one of those. Currently have an outdoor wireless camera by the front door, so this hardwired in will be cheaper in the long run as I won't need the batteries.

So annoyed I paid £50 for the blink doorbell camera, was waiting for it for years so bought as soon as it dropped, need more patience

Only bought a pair of new balance shorts so far for £15, want the Hive TRVs while they are cheaper but seems daft buying them mid summer because won't be able to calibrate them and see if any are faulty

Deadman’s Fingers Passion Fruit for £15.50 a bottle.

Also, they have some good deals on Bosch Professional power tools at the minute, and although I’m in the market for an 18v cordless jigsaw, random orbit sander and trim router, I’ve already gone down the Makita route, which aren’t included in Prime Day sadly.
