He's not affiliated with AMD and he's not a 'Pro' overclocker you know? He's got no reason to mislead you. Too much distrust.Overclocking and undervolting with out validation is pointless, you can set a high OC and it be applied but the performance can be worse. So make sure you do 3dmark run after each clock you apply and compare the scores
yeah AMD has shown similar behaviour over recent generations. Power and heat limits the "boost" clock. Chucking unnecessary volts at the GPU just means that it hits both limits at lower speeds.So undervolting can improve performance? I've never done any GPU overclocking. On CPUs, you normally need more voltage to run faster. But undervolting can help get more performance on a GPU? Is that because of the power limits?
