AMD 6800 & 6800 XT MBA LAUNCH AT 2PM TODAY - EXTREMELY LIMITED STOCK!

So let me get my head around this, a link from twitter was posted on the forum to the 6800/xt page for people to buy? So if you're not on the correct forum page, (if on the forum at all) you have no idea about this situation. So I sat refreshing for a good 20 minutes (yeah, I know, more fool me) on the AMD listing page and wondering where all the new gpus were and they were somewhere else?
Is this correct?

I'm not sure where you got this order detail from but based on the time that this order hit our system I'm fairly sure that they don't have any hope of actually receiving one, that would be well over 100th in the queue.

Think we are more mocking he looks a bit of a cnt in his profile picture at this point haha.

GOt that whole, lives at home, hobbies include date rape about him.

I think ordering a reference model is a mistake. The AIB cards will arrive very soon and most likely with better cooling and noise performance. It's not like the Ryzen CPUs where there's zero competition and therefore no reason to wait - the GPUs will have a slew of options, overclocks, sizes, etc. Not to mention the lowered stress levels of avoiding the rush.

Reference models are said (not sure if absolute gospel) to have the better binned chips so if they are going in a custom water loop it normally makes more sense to not pay the extra for the better coolers on the AIB models.

This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.

:)

They are selling them as ‘confirmed orders’. But they aren't confirmed. Only confirmed if you get shipping email instead of cancellation. NOT the order confirmation email.

What a time to be alive, when your order confirmation doesn't mean your order is confirmed.

They already have in the last launch.

How many? I kept an eye on the 3080 threads for a while after launch and can't recall them doing so. The potential legal repercussions just doesn't seem worth it. People have profited off launch day items for years.

Yipee i am in 6800xt que, i can feel my chest pains coming back and its only been an hour, the 3080 que near killed me, i had to leave or die, i just hope we can survive this wait, not sure what number i am yet but i am hoping to be position 20, good luck evryone

Hahahaha, whoever that guy is, he’s relisted and removed the picture of his ocuk order :D so he must be reading this forum.

Whoever you are, throw yourself off a cliff.

Not quite from what I can gather. the links worked for some people and not others because the web servers had not synced up.

I was using the right links yet saw no products for 20 minutes. Other people using the same links, would have seen products.
