I think from the last post the ETA for actual arrival at OcUK slipped from today/tomorrow to tomorrow/Monday:
It sounds like they only expect to find out what is en route to them today (which is still a valuable update), but delivery would at best be tomorrow, but maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Yes I'm really hoping to build this weekend as well. I think I'll wait for today's update before emailing and asking about that too.

Yeah, I sent a support ticket yesterday to ask what my warehouse time was as I used Paypal and they said no, despite people on here getting that info. A little frustrating, but I'll just be patient. I'm away this weekend so next week would work better anyway, as I'm not going to be able to build until Monday.I feel somewhat sorry for the poor OCUK support folks getting inundated with questions from us 9800X3D folks that they cannot answer
A lovely guy on support told me -
"We can only change the delivery method of an order before it has been dispatched."
I'm currently on next day Mon-Fri, so hoping to change it to DPD Saturday, so if it gets dispatched tomorrow, I can still get it by the weekend.
My primary worry (which I have also asked support) is that on the delivery options site, it states "Saturday - your order will ship on Friday for delivery on Saturday." So would that mean it wouldn't be dispatched until Friday? Would be an issue if it gets delayed till Monday (would have to wait until next weekend for delivery).
Ye people should stop reaching out to them, they don't have that info, and it seems that people have been posting fake times/deliveries in this thread already so wait for official posts only

Yeah, all a bit confusing.. Ordered 14:02 through paypal (paypal confirmation email for taking payment arrived 14:07), via RM - no update for me yet, so i don't think i should hold my breath in excitement for a while.
Which is fine, i'm still waiting for the Nova anyway until early december - it's the "not knowing what's going on" that's making my head spin. Hope that Gibbo can shed some light on the situation.

Crazy that people that ordered after you already got it according to some posts and photos on this thread.
Seems like Overclockers have no queue system, and that the order times are not being respected and all seems a bit random.
I think was addressed by Gibbo, he said that even though you get an email from paypal, OCUK themselves might not get an update immediately, so there will likely be an internal(ERP) offset from the emails and OCUK's system. (I might have misunderstood, so please correct).
I think we are all hoping for the 3-400 untis to arrive today/tomorrow to OCUK from their distributors then we can get another update.

I mean, i am happy for those people, but like with queuing anywhere.. If someone gets in before you, it always feels kinda iffy.
I understand that there appears to be a discrepancy between "ordering" and "OcUK receiving payment", i would just like to know what to expect. Feels a bit like hanging in the air.

To make things worse, if you dont know in time that your order is gonna ship tomorrow, you cant update to Saturday delivery.
But how are you even supposed to know its gonna ship tomorrow? And if you get the shipping email, then its too late to update to Saturday delivery...

tbh if the orders go out tomorrow for us that paid for next day dpd, we should get automatically upgraded to Saturday delivery.

Yes it would be frustrating to to miss the weekend delivery, but I can see it being very time consuming to contact everyone to ask if they want to upgrade to Saturday delivery. It might even delay shipments and if they just covered the cost that would affect their profit margin. Also Overclockers already kept the MSRP so less margin.
Unless we get confirmation of this fact, I doubt this will happen correct?
I'm currently going back and forth with support about this very topic as the chances of a lot of CPUs being shipped tomorrow are high and I assume there will be quite a few people on next-day delivery.

It's just their system that is super bad considering how long they are in the game. No queue system is pretty bad.
They could have a system that did something like this:
- Automatic email once the order is "Ready to ship"
- Email would say you have 1 hour to upgrade your delivery
Then at least you had that 1 hour gap to go to your order and upgrade the delivery on the website.
I live in COrnwall and our DPD depot delivers Saturday and Sunday regardless of if the service was paid for or not. As long as they have your mail they will bring to us, other areas may operate teh same way

I had that in Devon when I lived more rurally, I don't get that since I moved to Exeter anymore though
