AMD BLACK FRIDAY: MASSIVE DISCOUNTS ON VEGA & RX PLUS RX 590 IS HERE & UPTO THREE GAMES FREE !!!

why would you care anyway. even if you are not interested in the games. The cards are still so cheap. it shouldnt matter really
From what I understand, two of the games are steam codes and can be sold easily. One of the games is tied to a Uplay account, so would need a dummy Uplay account set up, and the game sold with the uplay account.

Not sure which of these is the best bang for buck at 1440p. I assume the Vega 56? Unless I'm mistaken it's still a fair way ahead of the RX 590 and not far behind the Vega 64?

Yea. The Vega56 (once overclocked) should be able to maintain a solid 60fps in most games; however people that game on 1440p 144Hz monitor or 4K could benefit more from the extra roughly 10% performance from the Vega64 (though that's another £100).

Just blundered into this thread and I wish I hadn't, thats a storming deal on the 56 for £299. Can the game codes be sold on to someone else? As someone posted earlier that they weren't interested in those games, and I'm not particularly either.
as hinted at by gibbo previously - likely only owners of vega /590 (maybe 580's?) will be able to redeem the codes so thinning the market for reselling a bit.
Probably not
based on?

why wouldn't he care? the guys asking a perfectly legitimate question - he's interested in buying something that may contain unwanted potentially sellable extras - he's just looking a bit of clarification on whether they can be sold or not.

I have 1440p @ 144 Hz but currently use an RX 480. I can get over 60 FPS in most games by turning some settings down but I wonder if this is the best it's gonna get between now and 2020-2021 from AMD (assuming nVidia continue to refuse to support VESA adaptive sync).

Don't tempt me with a hi res monitor:) gone for the Vega 56, with the games it's a no brainer! I would buy Division 2 anyway.. plus if there are new GPU's next year this will will go nicely in my ageing 12 Core Mac Pro 5.1..Can't wait to game & work with this card..
Not impressed by £10 for delivery! but best price.

7nm GPU graphic cards are going to arrive at some point in 2019, and should see quite a bit boost in both performance and efficiency. Realistically speaking though, I think the graphic card that AMD launch in 2019 would probably be around the performance level of a 1080ti and at a price bracket or around £500.

So...if you just plan on getting a graphic card and skip the next gen, then probably should go for the Sapphire Vega64 Nitro+; but if you think there's a likeliness that you upgrade again when the next gen 7nm become EOL and comes with some crazy deal like the current Vega does, then may be just go for a Vega56 for now and save yourself the £100.

IMO with the current offers of the games, the Vega56/64 will be as good as it gets until the 7nm graphic cards arrive (and even then at launch they will be at a high price premium).

I am not convinced that AMD's 2019 GPUs will reach 1080 Ti performance level. All of the rumours point to Navi being a Polaris replacement targetting next-gen consoles, not a Vega replacement. Also the release of the RX 590 suggests they will not be appearing in H1 2019 (IMO). I am almost certain AMD will not have a GPU that beats the Vega 56 in performance for £300 or less next year.

Sorry I meant to say "best case scenerio" :p

But if you look at Polaris, going from 14nm to 12nm allowing it would reach higher clock and bringing about 15% performance increase comparing the 590 to the 580. So considering 1080ti is only really around 30% faster than the Vega64/GTX1080, it is not beyond the realm of possibility if a Vega refresh was done on 7nm and get compariable performance to 1080ti, especially considering how well the performance of the Vega scale with increased clock speed. The question is though if it make sense for financially for AMD to do it, considering the high cost of HBM memory.

We're seeing Vega64 beating it in more and more games now
