Why must they keep delaying? if they delay one more time I'll never buy an AMD product again.
As per usual, I assume you'll also never buy an Intel chip again, Sandy-e was due in Q2 this year, its going to be over 6 months late(it was due early Q2), Ivybridge has been delayed by around 6 months now, the 22nm process has been delayed for roughly 6 months along with it, Haswell is unofficially back around 6 months on its initial schedual, older roadmaps suggest that 22nm is around 18-24months late versus from when they said it would be available 3-4 years ago, etc, etc, etc.
For I think well over 18 months Bulldozer was due in H2 2012, earlier this year they said they hoped it would be in Q2 because basically its gone well and is ready, unfortunately that was a bad move because the process just wasn't ready when it was supposed to be. I get the impression that if the process was spot on then it would have been out for months by now, probably same for Sandy-e and Ivy would be on schedual.
I have NO problem with people complaining about delays, even when theres been few if any official dates from AMD and mostly BS made up fan boy wishful thinking ones like Sept 19th, then getting angry at a fake date being missed, its beyond ridiculous.
But the people who go out of their way to have a go at AMD, when Intel have exactly the same, or even longer delays, is ridiculous.
Heres a hint, Nvidia's Tegra 3 has been delayed, several other ARM chips are behind schedual, AMD's chips are behind schedual, Intel chips are behind schedual........... this is in huge part down to processes lately, building stuff at 22-32nm is really damn difficult, get over it.
For the record, Trinity is WAY ahead of schedual and the roadmaps over the next 3 years are actually insanely aggressive and almost everything moved up a little.
Don't forget, Sandy-e architecturally, is barely different to Sandy, its on the same process which has been running for almost 2 years, that being delayed is a joke, AMD's entirely new architecture from the ground up on a brand new process which has issues, has been delayed less.
