It seems there will be a demonstration of an AMD FX processor soon:

1.4V on such rubbish clocks... BS!
The only win in this thread is that it gets most of the crap collected up into one easily ignored link.
32 nm process at 1.4 V? Intel recommends staying below 1.38 V for their Sandy Bridge chips remember, 1.4 V cannot be stock for Bulldozer.what makes it so unbelievable its at 1.4v?

anyway, if AMD mastered this and got 1.4V with 19C temps them we are either going to have veeeery cool CPU or a small radiator for the winter![]()
8 cores at 1.4V all running at 19 degreesthis doesnt seem right

Obviously they're not exactly the same fabrication but such a difference in voltage tolerances seems unlikely. On Intels architecture and fabrication, have Intel taken over AMD![]()
What kind of CPU falls over at idle on stock volts? You're not telling me that 3.2 GHz is overclocked or requires higher than normal voltages - if that were the case, AMD might as well throw in the towel, lol. Also theres no indication thats at stock volts, maybe they upped them so the cpu wouldnt fall over at idle load on their demo setup in their booth![]()
