Rusty, we can easily do 1080/1440/eyefinity too to give us a wider scope so feel free to pitch in![]()
Yeah Rusty (poke in the rib)

Yeah Rusty (poke in the rib). The more the merrier.
just installing 12.9 betas now (was on 12.8 with beta driver) and re-installing AB 2.2.3, 2.2.4 went ape poop on my clocks.
I seen and wilfully ignored that on the grounds of the 1080/1440 results.
I hear you if you're done fiddling. Getting old?. haha sorry I can't help myself.
I might lean on you, Tommy and Gregster for 3D when I'm up and running so please forget that I'm teasing you here.
Hey, hey, hey Nvidia users, hey!
Look what I can do at the click of a button:
Duplicate my three screens
Extend them
Eyefinity them
/annoying orange
But in all seriousness, from a sanity viewpoint, AMD owns at 3 monitors
All good things come to those who wait. I've been hearing a lot of good things about these drivers. Are you on water for 1350Mhz?.
I can bench CF 7850s and CF 7970s.
As long as there is a thread to go to, with what games and which settings i'll happily join in.
I can do that too
What I was talking about was that when I last used nvidia with 3 monitors, it was a PITA switching between modes. Eg, I want to work and want each screen to display something different (Extended mode) I need to arrange the desktops. Then if I want to play BF3 (Eyefinity/surround) I need to setup a surround group. Once I'm done, to go back to extended, I need to set it up again. Sure, it only takes 2 mins, but it's still damn annoying to do every single time.
With AMD you set it up once, right click and select whichever option you want to use for 3 screens.
Yer ok, that hasn't changed. I have not looked for saving profiles though but it is a PITA.
If it wasn't so much of a pain, I'd bench. Alas it's more of a pain than banishing VRAM hoodoo's.
Greg is better. I don't play much in 3D unless I'm just chilling. If I want to do well in BF3 it is most definitely switched off!![]()
It is a pain unplugging monitors and enabling/disabling multi monitors. Also I find it is better to remove the second card but this isn't essential.
Happy to help with any question with surround/3D![]()
lol Cleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. You can also do this with Nvidia but for best results, I will be doing it as though I have a single 680 on a 1080P monitor. Also I can make any game I have 3D simply by clicking a start menu button 'enable 3D vision' or I can click 'disable 3D vision' and this then enables all my 3 screens to output in wonderfull 3D or 2D depending on my choice. No messing and fussing just as easy as that![]()
Yep, though 1200/1600 is destroying everything I throw at it.
680 SLI? More than enough for 1080p 3D max settings.
yes ? so ? and ? I bet the same crashes are not fixed on the official
