AMD E3 Page

Must be using the new CF drivers then ;)

Hope so.

The problem is though Battlefield 3 is already smooth sailing on crossfire.

No GPU announcement then? One more day to go.

Typical hype fest expect amazing thing and then nothing.
Except this time AMD actively encouraged it.

People were expecting them to set the world alight by the sounds of it :p

They've got a lot of good publicity at the moment, this is just adding to it. One more day to go though, maybe they still have something up their sleeve.

They might have good publicity as they're doing quite a few things right at the moment (Although still many things wrong with their lack of urgency)

But time and time again things like this become a hype fest which sorely disappoint, such as the 7990, thinking it'll be something it's not, and priced cheaply because AMD are the saints.

Except this time AMD have been very active behind the scenes on twitter reinforcing the hype, which frankly has delivered nothing.

That said, I don't think much of Nvidia's E3, but that's generally because I don't care about the hype.

Glad to hear as I have the Titan SC and plan on getting another 1...

but seen so many reviews/reports of Titan owners getting buyers remorse.

Not here

I almost bought another one the other day. I was thinking about building a Haswell rig with a single card (Titan) but when I saw how poor the 4770k was for overclocking I changed my mind.

losing hope

Bit like that. Big disappointed with the GTX780 price. The GTX770 feels too much of the same thing (cause its pretty much a 14 month+ old card). But i skipped gtx680 for this release & very itchy trigger finger. Was hoping AMD gave me a reason to hold out a bit longer i.e. for something like a 8970 with GTX 780 performance at £400 price point. Now im thinking ill just grab a 7970/gtx770 & be disappointed i waited a year & a half for the same card at a slightly lower price. Boo!

AMD famously tight lipped again, AMD say the new GPU's will be with us in Q4 2013, the consensus is along with BF4.

Perhaps AMD have yet not decided what the specifications are going to be, hence the silence.

The new gpu's will come out in october with battlefield 4. Whether they announce it today at E3 or not though remains to be seen.

AMD aren't going to magic up something now and then pop it out for Q4 lol.
It'll already need to be pretty much ready.

We ALWAYS get silence until pretty much NDA, or the allowed previews.
It's VERY rare we get "This is coming out at X time"

They're ready. ;)

And by extending launch they're raising expectations. Assuming of course that they're ready to just blast them out right now (Which wouldn't make much sense to delay)

Peoples expectations and allowance for pathetic gains/pricing are screwing us all over.

With AMD's "trolling" if they were ready, I'd have expected them to be in the E3 system as NDA GPU's to be honest :p
