**AMD Fiji Thread**

Mantle was also capable of using the ram in this way when crossfired but no-one ever used it so I wouldn't go holding my breath for them to start using it now. I'm sure it will eventually become common place but it's unlikely there will be anything more than a gradual rise in it's use by games developers meaning most of us will be on the next gen of cards before it is worth making it one of the considerations when buying a dual card set up.

It's pie in the sky like Lucid Logix et al. Any implementation we do see won't be like AFR where FPS scaling approaches 100%, it will be mundane like the SFR on CiV: BE.

I need to ask some desperately basic questions:

-An AIO cooler has risks the same way that any watercooling solution does...but how high is the risk of a leak? The same as the length of a piece of string?

-If I replace the 120mm exhaust fan at the back of my case with the Fury X's radiator and fan then, given that I've got a 200mm exhaust fan at the top of my case which pushes out a lot of air anyway, I shouldn't realistically expect much change (if any) in CPU temperatues should I?

Did they have vsync enabled?

Yes they did, and a 30hz panel can't display more than 30fps; even if the GPU feeds it 100 fps.

The photo of they show has the VSync Option enabled. Edit: it's the bright orange tick box right under the resolution.

Then there's the fact that not once did they record the actual fps. Just some guy claiming it felt like more than 60fps when playing.

I don't care what he thinks it feels like. I want actual numbers.

Edit: here's a screenshot of the game's graphics options. You can see on TT that VSync is enabled on their 30Hz Panel.

Here's the option they conveniently didn't have in the photo. The check box that says VSync under the resolution.

I know, that's why I was asking, with vsync off 30 FPS is still max (the monitor cannot physically display over it's max refresh). But the input lag of 30FPS is removed and might fool him into thinking his FPS was higher.

Anyone intrigued by the Nano? If it packs more power than a 290x like they say this will make a great card for an itx build. Perfect for the living room.
