**AMD Fiji Thread**

Does anyone know if I'll have any trouble installing a Fury X into a Cooler master HAF 932 case? I also have a cpu cooler which takes up quite a lot of space - Noctua NH-C14 Top-Flow Low-Profile CPU Coolerhttps://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-014-NC

I've never had any kind of water cooling. Would I need to remove a case fan?

How about having 2 Fury x's?

I haf a HAF 932 case and you'll be able to screw the radiator into either one of the top three slots (you'll have to take out the supplied 200mm fan), or the rear fan port (again, will require removal of stock fan), or (would probably be my choice, PSU cables permitting), into the bottom fan port.

2 Fury X's, no problem.

It's the most progress made for years. 980 performance, half the size, and 175 watts.

IF it performs it's a game changer. I won't buy anything until this is reviewed and tested.

A 980 doesn't draw much more if anything than 175watts anyway, in fact a 970 is very similar performance and also available in small card sizes

I wouldn't say it was a game changer so much as AMD are now matching nvidia on perf/w... The fact they've had to use HBM to get there, when NVIDIA have not yet made that switch...

Will the reviews etc be released tomorrow with the GPU launch?

Hopefully they go live tonight after midnight. Might get a few slip through the net early.

Biggest concern with Fury X launch is just how much will Titan X lose in value. Considering the 12GB of vram maybe there will still be people interested even if Fury X is a bit faster?

It says HDMI 2.0 on that box...is it photo shopped?

I'm assuming just the fact the Titan X has 12GB Vram will attract a certain array of custom.

The usual power-draw reviewers report back on the 980 is 180 to 190 Watts, sometimes as high as 250 Watts on the Factory Overclocked ones.

Fury Nano has a 175 Watt TDP, thats 125 Watts less than the 290X and it will no doubt destroy it in performance, they have doubled performance per watt, thats not down to HBM alone.

Its also completely pointless to argue about 10 Watts.

If you are only buying a card to last 2 years then it doesn't make sense to buy a TitanX since the 12GB is overkill for any situation. 12GB may come into effect in 2-3 years time but we will have cards probably twice as powerful then.

I suspect we will be able to buy 2 Fury pro's for the same price as 1 TitanX, and the Fury Pro's in crossfire will be around 50%+ faster when overclocked.
