AMD freesync coming soon, no extra costs.... shocker

With these being quoted as £100-150 cheaper than the GSync monitors I'm actually looking forward to getting one for ~£350.

I'm tempted to get a normal 4K monitor now, but they're over £400 even without Gsync. £350 seems much better and with Freesync too! (I realise that that price it'll be Acer quality rather than Asus, but for ~£350...)

News in coming next week. Last news we had was demo panels for September showing.

AMD don't do 'next week', it's when 'it's ready'.:p

Nice find.

It's not a poke, I already stated I meant beta. Unlike some I am not willing to be a beta tester if something is sold to me as a feature.

You do make me smile :)

Posting otherwise 8 days later, was being honest there with my reason, it was retort due to your posting history, smiling with you.

I was actually on holiday for the week. A bit strong coming from you over posting history. Surprised to be honest that if you followed my posting history you would have noticed I was not around?

Or is it supposed to be a stealth put down to give you in your mind the moral high ground.

Anyway we are going off topic. I suggest you put me on ignore and I shall return you there. We can both then keep smiling :)

In light of 'crashing the party' and shanks find, I'll predict a Freesync announcement/reveal bang slap in the middle of Game24.

Reading far to much into it, but as I said it's all

What's left to reveal/announce? That would be hilarious, greenbois would be seething if some boring re-announcement interrupted their worship ceremony.

It'll be the 980 series which in itself isn't entirely boring, only slightly. FreeSync is an adaption of a VESA variable refresh rate.

Like crashing a rave in rainbow jockstraps and a gimp mask. Everyone laughs for a few minutes then stops caring
