Yeah that's my girlfriend, she wanted to help so I put her on cable management duty, she now knows how to assemble a PC, and yeah she's feeling much better and is currently installing The Sims 3 with all expansions. She like making houses, but is also someone to fear on Call Of Duty/Red Dead Redemption/Borderlands, she's preordered number 2 for the pc, she's mainly an Xbox gamer as the HP Touchsmart is a turtle..

She's feeling much better, she had headaches and felt sick, turns out she just needed something decent to eat and a cup of tea and a long nap so I made an Omelet with Bacon, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese :)

Thanks

Uploaded a lot of pictures to the link previously post, still got another 6 to go, I will embed them to the first page tomorrow :)

Also Idle: (confirmed via windows and bios)
29'c on CPU
28'c on motherboard

On medium/heavy load (DiRT Showdown for an hour)
38'c on CPU
Didn't check motherboard, will do next time

In one of the pics currently uploading youwill notice one Stock 120mm Corsair H80 fan cable tied in the spare 200mm slot, its running on the fan controller on its own socket as after 40% its the loudest thing in the room, both top fans are mean to be connected to the same speed header, but I want the 200mm fan to be at different speeds as its almost silent at any speed :)

Neat rig! SEEEE! respect the guy for being different even if his system is ridiculously expensive for what it is. Aslong as he's happy who cares :p

Show us some benchmarking results, fps counters etc etc

Do a few benchmarks of your rig, use 3Dmark11, heaven etc. Would be good to see some scores and performance you're getting out of it.

Benchmarking tomorrow :)

Name the benchmarks you want me to do.

Also I'm not too bothered if it doesn't keep up with lower clocked Intel chips, I'm pleased with what I have built and I have used high quality parts, except the PSU, gambled on that one, barely a review in sight, it also came with an American power cable, nothing a £5 trip to homebase couldn't fix.

Also the DVD drive is loud as thunder but it will not be used anymore then twice a month as every game is Steam based :)

Ok, it only booted 1/3 times at 1866, so I clocked it back to the original 1600. Also im complwtly new to overclocking, it seemed as i raised the ASRock Auto overclocker 5% it wasnt just the CPU that was overclocked, is this normal?

After I bios reset i booted and the CPU showed 4.2ghz, after overclocking the ram (not really overclocking, taking to standard speeds as 1333 was set rather than 1600) the CPU shows as 4.3Ghz? why is this?

It doesnt bother me too much as my cooling seems great and i havent seen over 40'C yet while playing DiRT Showdown on High settings for an hour.
