im not into streaming i have 1mega dsl, and not into uploads either, but i know a lot of ppl would like the new feature.
optimisation i dont know, games are always maxed out for me with a 280x... but in the witcher 2 ubersampling was enabled thing that droped my fps sub 50.

Talking about the recording. Evolved uses amdapp something am not sure nvidia can use?

I already use that to do that my recordings via Mirillis. Recently ive been using AVI because it is better quality though.

You need to launch the game through Raptr. Right click the icon, launch, game. Only way i could get the overlay to work. Will now try recording something. 1080P and lower only thus far.
 
Got the Raptr overlay working in Tomb Raider. Does not work for me in BF4 (DX or Mantle) or Sleeping Dogs.
 
Can't get it to work for some reason. Planetside 2 is kinda weird, it has a launchpad.exe then it launches planetside2_x64.exe but when choosing the launch file for gaming evolved app it only allows me to select launchpad.exe. Gutted.
 
If you can't get the overlay to work with the game in question, it won't record. SO far I've got it working with Dirt Showdown and Tomb Raider. Does not work with Sleeping Dogs or Sniper Elite V2 though. It says it works, but it does not. Or i have another overlay or something interfering with it. Not entirely sure.
 
Confirmed this won't pick up on anything other then AMD cards, 'Sorry this feature is not available with your graphics card'.

Looks like it allows twitch streaming however.

I'm still miffed you can earn points and rewards lol.
 
Its good that this third party utility is getting there, but by the responses in this thread above this post there is obviously still work to be done, but why can't AMD just do this themselves that way it would work straight off (well you would expect it too).
 
This is really weird. I managed to add Planetside 2 with it's 64 bit executable but when I load Raptr, Planetside 2 appears in the library list then disappears literally in front of my eyes before I can launch.

Uninstalled for now, can't get it to work with Planetside 2 so not much point me having it on there. At least we're getting closer :) still jealous of Shadowplay users :(

This is what one of the developrs said in the forums a few hours ago We've turned off the 3.9 client updating for the time being, as we're investigating several issues (as you can tell by bug reports in this thread) we hope to have a handle on things soon, and will post more info as soon as we have it.

Until this is resolved, you won't be able to update to the 3.9 version of the Gaming Evolved client.
