AMD has decided to extend the life of AM3 + platform.

Oh your edit after i quoted which clearly is not shown in my quote to the comment which you should have seen that it was not.
Which still changes nothing.

Forget this. Whatever I say/do, apparently I'm pedantic.

As soon as BD's launch comes, I'll quote myself either right or wrong.

I didn't say anything about you being pedantic in that comment.
But the fact that i have pointed that out to you when it does not really matter is me being pedantic in a sarcastic manor and just to illustrate how pathetic it can be and adds nothing but negative purpose most of the time.

Yes right or wrong and till the next time & you again will make a huge fuss through the forums as if that's the only way it can be done.

you guys are more than a bit off topic here...

To be fair they're discussing sockets, Future sockets, current sockets. The thread is about a future socket that could be a stop gap rather than a progressive move.

It isnt 100% on topic, but its not stretched too much

Although if you're referring to the pointless back and forth arguing about who was right or wrong, etc. Fair enough :p

AM3+ feels like a stop gap and im not impressed with it considering how long it took for it to come out, including the chip set.

The +'s always feels like stop gaps.

Who is right & who is wrong is not my point & i don't care either way how it turns out.

Its the way its gone about that i care about & many people are lead around in circles because of some ones enthusiastic approach believes of the subject as if they have personally been force into buying it when it gets here, so it better meet expectations.
