Are you using windows aero? Acceleration disabled? Windows basic colour?

i had 12.9 on before 12.11 so im not sure why CCC isn't running

What settings you using on heaven? Are you using the benchmark settings? Ie tess-normal 4xaa etc.

My clocks idle are 300/150 in CCC and afterburner.

I still can't get this driver to work, cant even open CCC with it.

I might have just made a schoolboy error and installed the buggy ones by accident. Despite the ridicule i might face i hope thats the case.

Reinstalling now.

Argh, no luck still show sitting at desktop at 500/1375!

What link did people use to download? 7970 users whose cards are clocking down please.

I'm just a bit gutted as I got a melon 7970 which led me to go to Nvidia. As I've still to get my monitor plus waiting on my replacement 2nd card it's still possible I could go that route. I certainly could do with TommyBhoy's expertise on the matter

I don't think there's any point swapping from a 680 to a 7970 or vice versa at any point of time especially if you have to take a hit on selling them.

Well mines a gigabyte windforce card if that makes any difference also I use control panel to uninstall CCC the I reboot run drivesweeper to delete/clean any ATI files reboot then install.

Should my 6970 (default 3d clock is 900/1375) be running at 900/mhz whilst watching flash via firefox ? isn't it meant to run at like 500mhz or something for flashplayer ? my cards clocking back down fine to 250mhz but going at full 3d clocks just watching a stream so far no crashes though so I'll take that over 12.9 beta and 12.8 if crash free.

Seriously though ? these clock issues have been going on what feels like forever now, ati need to pull their socks up just fix the clock issues first performance later please.

Yeah looks like it only affects reference cards then, ah good dammit. This will annoy me. Might have to bios flash. Mind giving me your bios please borley?
