Also, what is this assumption that because AMD was second best (which it wasn't) at high end, it lost all this market share??? They lost all this market share because they did not have any products for mid range and mobile market. Guess what is Polaris 11 and 10 addressing? Mid range and mobile market ;)

Good post, I always like to see people with common sense, there isn't many here :P

Pro Duo as it's perfect for VR, will likely remain king for at least a year. The Polaris Mid Tier if it can match or surpass the Fury X line. Will see the other cards go EOL as it will be cheaper for AMD to produce Polaris chips VS the older Fury cards. I imagine they will co exist for a while at least in this scenario and should be some bargain prices on the older cards.

I'm looking at the GTX 1070 as my next GPU atm, (Back to green camp) if it can beat my Nano in performance while using less power. Obviously if AMD have something similar I will consider that as well.
 
Got a feeling these will be well priced, come out fighting with cards aimed at gaining a decent chunk off market share (AMD really need to push for market share) in the mid tier, then the higher end more expensive stuff coming next year. It def makes sense for AMD to do this imho.

Expecting Nvidia GTX 1070 to also be a good bang for buck card, while using less power than current stuff, either that or the AMD 4XX will be my next card, whichever gives better bang for buck @ ~£250/£300

Gregster this post is a bit odd from you, where did you get 6 months from? AMD should be half a year ahead? Lol.

Also aren't Nvidia and AMD both rumored to be launching new cards in, i.e for sale in June? At the same time ish. I thought Nvidia were doing a paper launch today?

Eeeergh I hate all this fanboy speak that happens when one company announces a new product :P. Not just this guy but there's loads of it atm lol.

We haven't seen AMD's cards yet. From what I've read they are looking at offering best bang for buck at a lower tier, may not even compete with the 980 directly. Vega comes out next year from current rumors.

I'm sure AMD will be fine, what is it 40 million AMD SOC's in PS4's, not to mention XB1 and upcoming consoles. Maybe DGPU just isn't as big as a market as it once was for them.

He's not spreading misinformation. He said The 1080 has no gains in DX12 VS DX11 in that game which is true.

So you are spreading misinformation about him. Reported.
