Nope. You're confusing the Dram leak with higher than DX Vram usage, Tut. Dram and Vram are not the same thing.
Oh. I understand why I've gotten confused.
Who the hell says dram?

And only you .
I read it as Vram.
A few us could smell the hypocrisy from 50 miles away.

This cold weather is working a treat for my Radeon. I can have 75mV on it now and keep the same temperatures as I could with 50mV when it was hot. Higher 24/7 clocks! Running at 1175/1550 at the mo. Don't get any crashes in anything other than BF4.
Some have found that a side fan works wonders for Hawaii, not sure if it applies to your Tri-X though. Do you fiddle with the aux (PLL) volts?
It's a game issue i expect knowing BF4. Does it happen under DX Rusty? Have you checked to see if you're suffering from the dram leak? Ctrl Alt Del next time and check dram usage after you've been playing for 30 mins. Waiting on the next patch for BF4 here myself.

You should have bought the Powercolor PCS+, i'm running +75mv on the original cooler, even in the hot weather. It never crashes.
I shouldn't because it's got peasant RAM on it.
It's not crashing because of the graphics card individually it's crashing due to a combination of either a memory leak and Mantle or something else which I haven't been able to pin down.
I could run 100mV on it if I wanted to in hot weather - I wasn't hard limited to 50mV I just chose to run lower voltage because my room was becoming unbearably hot with the card going.
oh... pfft @#+?£% my peasant vRam still runs at 1550Mhz, noth'n wrong with that
I also use Mantle, and never crash. maybe my vRam isn't all that bad
Good for you. I have god awful luck with AMD cards so I would have ended up with one that black screened as soon as you touch the mem frequency hence going for the Sapphire. Plus I prefer the look of the Sapphire but they're both great cards.
It could be anything really. I've tried loads of things and to be honest it's probably some issue with something in the way I run games (i.e. 120 Hz etc etc) and Mantle and the drivers and the game.
I say this because 14.7 first driver was god awful. Would be lucky to make it 30 mins without crashing in BF4. With the RC3 one things improved dramatically but still not perfect so it's obviously something to do with the drivers even if not the drivers exclusively.
