AMD R9 290 (Non-X, Pro, etc) Owners Club

As I have been using my XFX 290 for a while now instead of my MSI 780, playing BF4 I think the game looks better ie the reflections in the heli cockpit seem clearer and sharper too ...also after getting out of my head the "omg the card is getting so hot " I set up a fan curve...and in game temps dont go over 68c and idle the card sits at around 40c

Here is a piccie :) lol

How would you guys say crossfire's working these days?

TBH I'm pretty happy with the performance from my single 290 (gaming @ 2560x1080) but wondered as new games are released and extra power is needed will 2 provide a smooth and fairly trouble free performance?

Normally as always, depends on game and the support.
I normally stay away from crossfire/sli due to one card always less issues.
I rather lessen some settings than have to start tweaking stuff.

Any reason the GPU usage in Alien Isolation is up/down? The EXE just crashed also, not sure if this is something to do with it.

Enable unified gpu usage monitoring snips in afterburner. That stops the wild gpu usage fluctuations. Wonder if that will help your other issue too.

I find it bizarre that you need +13mv for that clock when i was using -0.037v with that card 24/7. What's also weird is the stock clocks for it our 975/1250, not 947/1250. Have you flashed a different bios?
