**AMD Radeon 390X Graphics Card WCE**

I think it'll be much better than DX11, but reliable sources say that MS & NVIDIA are colluding to make various features exclusive (to punish AMD / Khronos), and generally gimp it. Plus it's Microsoft.

Vulkan looks genuinely exciting, and doesn't come with any attendant walled garden. I really hope it becomes the target API for all devs beyond the influence of MS/NVIDIA tendrils.

What sources?

This cannot be true! The 7*** series cards will not support freesync or vsr is that not what we were told, therefore can the 370, if based on pitcairn, these cards cannot be pitcairn rebrands surely.

Thankfully it appears to be lower range only, so 380 / 380X / 390 / 390X should be all new design.

Look like we have to wait for next year before we get anything exciting though. 28nm has really stalled progression.

 Just found these impressive benchies :D

Tut tut, if your going to post this sort of thing don't crop the image first. ;)

^^ Sadly with no actual hardware speculation is all we have..

For all we know, 37X series could be for OEM, and the actual consumer cards are 4XX series. Wish AMD would comment / get involved with consumer preview or something of what's coming next and when. It's almost as if they are happy to sit back and let Nvidia dominate. Where's the fighting spirit?

i have to admit amd's silence is a bit of a worry, what if there is nothing but rumors

My very limited patience has all but run out :p, I planned to wait for 390X / 980 Ti if Titan X was expensive. But AMD are no where to be seen so Nvidia have no need to release a 980 Ti anytime soon. I might just grab a Titan X as soon as pos and be done with it all until next year.

Even if 390X is great I'm worried that drivers and Nvidia gaming gimping will mean the Titan X will still outperform it.

That Titan X is looking mighty tempting right now... Where you at AMD?

Have to agree, with the Titan X release you would think that AMD would announce some info on the 390(X) just to give people pause as to whether to delay their purchases or not even if it's a few months away.

^^ This.

I could understand AMD not wanting to announce 3XX series now as it might stop 2XX cards selling, but by all accounts there not selling anyway..

AMD could at least make people think twice about buying the 9XX / Titan X series by announcing their new series cards are coming..
