**AMD Radeon 390X Graphics Card WCE**

lol, you knew it wasn't coming until June at the earliest anyway, Boom :D What's changed since the other day?

The plan was to hold off for a price reduction on the Titan X, or see what 390X / 980 Ti are like. With no movement from AMD I can't see a 980 Ti being introduced any-time soon. I doubt these will get any cheaper tbh.

Might just grab an X and be done with it until next year.

Titan X > Pascal and call it a day.

For those saying a June date, that's speculation as well. AMD haven't announced anything. You can't say that the spec isn't legit but the date is. It's all speculation at this point. We could be waiting forever for AMD to bring something, even then there's no guarantee it will beat the Titan X anyway. If it does it certainly won't be cheap eiather.

I think it's time to get an X !

Ok, were you expecting news of either within the last few days?

Mate, be honest with yourself and just admit you want a shiny new toy right now instead of coming up with waffle to justify it :p

EDIT: And that's why I said June at the earliest ;)

Looks like you are going to have to pay the Titan Tax as you just cant resist new toys :D

Don't need to justify it you weirdo :p

I've got the money, I hoped AMD would have done something, like they did when Titan Z at GTC was launched AMD whisked people off in limo's and showed them R9 295X2.

This time around AMD are dead quiet..

I can't use a 960 @ 1440P until June on the hope that something may be coming.

I think it's time to grab a Titan X and enjoy high end gaming again !

Indeed :o

Reported for personal attack! (Ok, not really)

Do what you gotta do. It's not like I'm not trying to talk you out of it or saying you should wait.

Huh?

Yeah no worries mate. I'm not worried about people having different opinions. It is an obscenely priced GPU, and I really resent giving Nvidia the money but I want one :D

Not sure I can resist tbh

would have been tempted on a titan x myself but at the mo just cant afford it, mabe its a good thing as by the time i have the cash to splash there mabe other options

Thankfully it appears to be lower range only, so 380 / 380X / 390 / 390X should be all new design.

Look like we have to wait for next year before we get anything exciting though. 28nm has really stalled progression.

380 and 380X look to be the rejigged Hawaii chip...

From what we've seen the 390-series is the only brand new architecture :(

+1

My very limited patience has all but run out :p, I planned to wait for 390X / 980 Ti if Titan X was expensive. But AMD are no where to be seen so Nvidia have no need to release a 980 Ti anytime soon. I might just grab a Titan X as soon as pos and be done with it all until next year.

Even if 390X is great I'm worried that drivers and Nvidia gaming gimping will mean the Titan X will still outperform it.

That Titan X is looking mighty tempting right now... Where you at AMD?

You don't rush perfection, everyone knows it! :D

thats the paintjob not the fire? lol
shoudlnt the battery keep the bios for you?

anyway i hope nothing is broken >< id maybe not use the same powercable just incase!

hi
i fitted new Seansonic and the pc is still dead, no lights...nothing, the PSU does nothing either, in the instructions it sais `` if the pc is damaged, the PSU will not start, this is to prevent further damage``.

so it looks like the Mobo  the blue flash looked like it came from the mobo anyway, but the modo looks undamaged !

as for the 390x, AMD had better hurry up or i'll get TX instead, because i'm too upset right now to be kept waiting much longer.

i'm quite surprised that a brand new PSU does nothing when you turn it on, but it cant possibly be another faulty psu surely !!!!!

fixing this rig is costing me a fortune

This is Bulldozer all over again.

I'll probably just grab a 980, I can't ne bothered waiting for these incompetent fools again.

The least they could do is give us a feint idea of what's going on. It's not lack of performance, lack of value or lack of product that's forced my hand, but lack of communication.
