Only 4 days to go...

Its going to be so funny if it is a 512mbit bus, with 4 or 8GB of ram, £650 and still slower than a 780. :D

(Seriously I am not expecting this to happen)

A controlled leak seems quite credible when it involves DICE, AMD's new best friends. Especially just a few days before the launch.

Credible yes but thats only the image of the engineering sample board with sheath on not the 2 PCB images or the rumoured spec. (it is actually an engineering sample in the top pic so as far as DICE having hands on thats probably true).

Ah, I assumed he was backing up the quoted specs.

Nah hes just showing off he has his hands on one - DICE doesn't really have reason to lie about that so its pretty much a given that its actually an engineering sample VI board.

EDIT: The press have been putting those 2 together to make it look like its part and parcel of the same story tho.

yes but as Roff has said it is only the full card image that is the leak the other images and the article guessing at 512Mbit bus are all just rumours.

Thing is you wouldn't get 4gb on a 384 bit bus, would you? It definitely won't be 2gb so surely that would only leave 512 bit as the only option. As far as i understand it anyway.

nah there's some science that if you have 4gb you need 512 bus

no idea what the science is tho

What billy said.

This is not Nvidia though Bru.

Have Nvidia used 512bit before? I don't know.

Have AMD? user 512bit before? Yes, the 2900xt.

No chance.

yes I know this isn't Nvidia, I was just saying that it is possible. 4GB ram does not necessarily mean a 512Mbit bus.
