"Nothing to see here" :o

I hope AMD do smash it, it's a win win either way for me.

If they do nail it and pricing too, it will be a win, win for everyone. Nvidia would have to lower prices to stay competitive or at least I hope they would or get a shifty on with 20nm at the bare minimum for an early 2014 release.

Competition is good for us, so long as it involves competitive pricing.

Could the bigger surprise be how BF4 with the new R290 works with the AMD 8 core CPU? BF4 could be programed to max out those cores

Unless there's some unheard of wizardry going on I'd say no. What happened to AMD fusion btw?

Even if it could use 8 core the IPC is still poor compared to Intel Quads and Hex's.

Few people getting rather excited so they're expressing this through pics/gifs instead of text.

This reminds me of how few times I been excited before a tech event, first time baby I can understand but a graphical card?

Its I guess due to BF4, as BF3 was so well I wont go into detail there for me the BF4 beta closing in and with this AMD event collide to create a buzz to find out whats its going to be, and yes one year from now when 20nm hits us, I am likely to think, dang, to slow.

Bf4 beta seems to be 64bit also.

Is there anyway to get BF4 BETA without having to spend money on pre-orders or premium.....

What happened to no nonsenses open BETA?

Unless AMD are going to release a 3dnow patch for BF4 I doubt it will max out all there cores giving 50% boosted performance, anyone with grey hair may understand that one;)
